WHAT WILL YOU CELEBRATE?
Disneyland is fun for the whole family and bridges the generation gap as everyone becomes a child again. Immerse yourself in WALT’S WORLD. Begin your day with a character breakfast where you will meet all your favourite Disney characters.
Your parkhopper pass allows you the option to move freely between Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. If you are travelling with wee ones head to Mickey’s Toon Town or Fantasyland. Experience It’s a Small World, Mad Tea Party (tea cup ride) or Peter Pan’s Flight. For the more adventurous take in the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Indiana Jones Adventure or Pirates of the Caribbean. Pick up a program at the gate so you don’t miss the scheduled character appearances, parades and live shows.
During your visit to California Adventure don’t miss the 3-D presentation of It’s Tough to Be a Bug, Soarin’ Over California and the spectacular live performance of Aladdin. On a hot day head for the white water rafting on the Grizzly River Run.
Immerse yourself in the complete Disney experience with accommodations readily available at the three Disney properties. Adjacent to the main gate, you’ll find the Howard Johnson Plaza, Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Anaheim Camelot Inn, Carousel Inn or the Tropicana Inn. These all allow for quick and easy access to the park and accommodate most budgets.
The Disneyland Express offers daily non-stop service between LAX and the Anaheim resorts. Access to the resort area is easy, just hop on the Anaheim Resort Transit.
While in LA a stop at Universal Studios is a must. Experience the thrill of the Revenge of the Mummy or Jurassic Park the Ride. Visit the Simpsons or have your picture taken with Shrek. Tickets and transfers from your Disneyland hotel are readily available. The ultimate experience is Universal’s V.I.P. pass, a once in a lifetime opportunity to feel like a celebrity for the day. Enjoy 6 hours of a private guided tour as you explore the working soundstages and wander through the incredible prop house. Your V.I.P. pass also includes reserved seating at ALL shows and a gourmet lunch.
Check out Southern California’s original theme park with a stop at Knott’s Berry Farm. Once an actual berry farm, it’s now 160 acres of world class rides, unique family shows and one of a kind attractions. Experience Ghost Rider, the world’s best wooden roller coaster, Supreme Scream, 30 stories up, 3 seconds down and the thrill of Xcelerator sending riders 0-80 in 2.3 seconds. For the younger members of the family there’s Camp Snoopy, home of the PEANUTS gang. Knott’s also offers Soak City Water Park for the wettest and wildest water rides around. Knott’s Berry Farm also has a full service hotel on site. Snoopy visits daily to add to the fun. Score some signature jams and jellies for souvenirs.
Don’t miss the Medieval Times Dinner. You can easily be shuttled from Disneyland to experience the magic of knights jousting on horseback. Cheer on your favourite knight while you dine on your medieval feast of tomato consommé, roasted chicken, spare ribs and herb basted potato.
Or take in the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure. The action takes place on an 18th Century Spanish galleon, anchored in a 250,000 gallon indoor lagoon. Your pirate feast includes garden salad, roasted chicken and garlic shrimp with scallops or seasoned beef, choice of roasted potato or seasoned rice and vegetables. Beer, wine and soft drinks included.
